Thank you Lord that we have hope beyond this world. We pray expectantly. Because we know our God is good & we know he hears our cries. He is on the move & a miracle will be revealed before our very eyes.
What started as a barely noticeable flicker in Molly Margaret’s eyes now has us in the pediatric unit of one of the country’s best hospitals with two diagnoses that are rare and random. It’s hard to digest and sometimes we're not sure we even believe it’s true. But God. He is good and faithful, even still. While we don’t know what tomorrow holds, we know who holds tomorrow.
Our 13 month old, Molly Margaret, has been diagnosed with Group 3 neuroblastoma, a pediatric cancer. This cancer triggered a neurological autoimmune disease, opsoclonus-myoclonus (OMS) which affects 1 in 5 million. While these are related, they have two separate treatment plans to address each diagnosis. Currently, Molly Margaret is receiving a 3 day treatment once a month for OMS. For the neuroblastoma, she has undergone one surgery to resect part of the tumor and has now also begun her first of four chemotherapy cycles.

We are praying fervently and expectantly. For God to perform a miracle that cannot be medically explained. For Molly Margaret’s story to already be changing the kingdom and for God to use it to call his children home to him. We are praising him for the brilliant minds working on her case. We pray for those doctors and nurses and surgeons diligently. This isn’t the story we would have chosen but it’s our story now & we won’t waste it. We are fully confident that we are here in this place at this time to add numbers to the kingdom. And if that is why we’re here then it's worth it. We know he is at work - both physically in MM’s body and eternally in the lives of those who hear her story.
We didn’t want to write this. But when God calls us to witness it’s rarely when or how we’d prefer. So we share because we know the more people that hear her story, the more people get to watch our God work. And that’s worth doing something we don’t feel like doing. It’s really not about us after all, it’s about him and he alone will get the glory. So please feel free to share and join us in this Kingdom work.
Keep praying boldly. Keep begging God to do what only he can do. Thank you will never suffice but thank you for your prayers and generosity. We are humbled that you would cry out to the Lord on our behalf. A sweet friend coined the term “Molly Margaret’s Miracle” & we’re believing for it.
