I am Kimberly the Nana and mom to my youngest daughters family - They won’t be home for the holidays. My Daughters home has been hit by the fire w/out flames MOLD ! In March right before my grandsons heart surgery they discovered mold in their home..all the unexplained symptoms they all had began to make sense & they were immediately advised that it was critical for their health and well being to move out& so within hours they left their family home..its been a long 9 months filled with a lot of loss& grief a season we have been reminded time& time again how quickly things can just be taken away…it’s been filled with saying goodbye to almost all their belongings …rocking chairs were they rocked all their babies in,books,homeschool supplies,mattresses,bed frames,toys,couches,stuff animal,coats,blankets,shoes,pillows,dressers,pictures, the list goes on of how this fire w/out flames destroys your home..its been a season of doc appts…tests…detoxing…building back strength& trying to get answers…a season of NO from home insurance…California contractor board…VA…a season of learning lots of patience…a season of frustration…. In order for my family to get back into their home they have to gut everything and start over again.
