Mojito needs surgery to repair his bilateral inguinal hernia

Tax deductible
Meet Mojito, a sweet eight-months-old Chihuahua from Tennessee who is facing a painful challenge—surgery to repair his bilateral inguinal hernia. His surgery is estimated to cost $1,279.52. His dad is trying to raise $629.51 for the remainder of the funds that Mojito needs to move forward with the treatment.

Mojito’s veterinarian is optimistic and believes he will have an excellent recovery after surgery. His loving dad has shared their heartfelt story, which you can read—along with more adorable photos—on Mojito’s fundraising page.
You can help make a life-changing difference for Mojito and his family by making a tax-deductible donation toward his veterinary care. Every dollar brings him closer to healing.

If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing his fundraising page helps spread the word and brings us closer to our goal.

Thank you for being a part of Mojito’s journey. Let’s give him the chance he deserves.

“Mojito is an 8-month-old Chihuahua who has completely redefined the meaning of family for us. He is not just a pet; he is our "baby," our constant companion, and the soul of our home. Mojito has a truly magical gift: he heals people’s hearts. When we walk down the street, we often cross paths with strangers who look tired, stressed, or like they are carrying the weight of a very bad day. The moment they see Mojito, their faces transform. His tiny size, his wagging tail, and the gentle way he asks for affection bring out a sense of tenderness that changes the energy around him. He gives love to everyone without knowing them.

At home, he is our world. He is incredibly loving and has a way of knowing exactly when we need a cuddle. Knowing that our little baby is in pain breaks our hearts every single day. We recently discovered that he is suffering from two hernias that require urgent surgery, along with several necessary dental extractions.

As an Uber and Lyft driver, I work countless hours and double shifts to provide for us, but with existing debts and the suddenness of this medical emergency, I simply cannot cover the full cost on my own. It is devastating to work so hard and still feel like I’m failing to give my best friend the health he deserves. He is so young, only 8 months old, and he has so many years of joy left to share with us and the world.

Mojito is the light of our lives. He doesn't just bark; he speaks with his eyes and heals with his presence. Every time he asks a stranger for a pat on the head, he is sharing a little bit of the pure love he gives us at home. We are doing everything humanly possible to save him, but we have reached our limit. This surgery is the only way to ensure he grows up healthy and without pain. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for any help you can give. You aren't just donating to a surgery; you are helping a family stay together and keeping a little light shining in this world. Thank you for your kindness."
