Keep the Heart of Our Community Beating & Support Cheshunt Community Sports Park
At Cheshunt Community Sports Park, we don’t just host sports and events, we create memories, friendships, and a true sense of belonging.
This is where a child scores their first goal. Where a grandparent finds purpose in a weekly game of bowls. Where a teenager learns self-discipline through martial arts. Where families come together to celebrate milestones, laugh, and feel connected.
This isn’t just a building, it’s where life happens.
But right now, our much-loved spaces are showing their age, and we need your help to bring them back to life.
We’re raising £20,000 to upgrade our facilities so they can continue to serve the people who need them most - young children discovering the joy of movement, older adults fighting isolation, and everyone in between.
With your support, we can:
• Refurbish our changing rooms, so young players and adult teams alike have clean, safe spaces to prepare, bond, and grow
• Modernise our indoor bowls area, a cherished gathering place for many of our older members, and a space where we hope to welcome the next generation
• Breathe new life into our wider spaces, including:
• Dance studios where confidence and joy are built
• A vibrant martial arts area where discipline meets community
• A well-loved gym and squash courts
• Function rooms that host everything from weddings to quiet moments of connection
Every corner of our club holds a story, of growth, of healing, of laughter. But without these upgrades, we risk losing the warmth and safety that makes those stories possible.
Why This Matters
For many in our community, this club is more than a place to be active, it’s a lifeline.
• A safe space for kids who need guidance and friendship
• A social hub for older adults who might otherwise be alone
• A venue that supports mental and physical health, across generations
Your donation isn’t just helping us fix up a building. It’s helping us hold on to everything this place represents; hope, connection, and community.
Please give what you can. Share this with your friends. Stand with us as we build a stronger, more welcoming future for everyone who walks through our doors.
Thank you for caring. Thank you for believing in what we’re doing.
We are also getting involved with fundraisers to support the overall target.
On 23rd–24th August 2025, a brave group of athletes trained by @target-fitness will take on the incredible Thames 200 Ultra race to help raise funds for our refurbishment project.
This challenge will see them kayak 200km non-stop along the River Thames, a true test of determination and teamwork.
You can read more about the race here: https://www.thames200ultra.com/about
Huge thanks to Gary Johnson (Target Fitness), Micky O’Meara, Lynn Whitnall (Hertfordshire Zoo), Dave Black (Target Fitness), and others representing Cheshunt Community Sports Park Ltd for giving their all in training and on race day.
We’ll be cheering them on every step (and paddle!) of the way. ♂️

More events are coming soon, stay tuned!
