Mobility for Mamaie

Hi family and friends, as you all know, mum is living on her own and it's been some time now that she's given up driving. She's had surgery on both knees and a replacement of one of her knees and her mobility has gradually deteriorated. Mum has been getting around with her push walker but this does not provide much range. I live about 2km away from her and my door is always open for her to come visit and stay the night when she is feeling lonely.

A mobility scooter would be a great way to return her some much needed independence to go safely to the shops and just move around her neighbourhood without too much effort.

I'd like to open up this opportunity to the entire family to contribute funds towards the purchase of a suitable device.

Gino and I have negotiated a great price for a mid spec model that we both think would be perfect for her. We did extensive research on both used and new and have decided that for peace of mind, a new scooter would be best.
