Hello, my name is John Mooney and I've been a member of Troop 516 Stoughton for over 10 years. Near the end of every scout's journey through the program, they must design and complete a project that aids their community in some way and showcases their ability as a leader.

Over the last few months, and with a few changes in course, I've narrowed my project down to the installation of two benches at the Bird Street Conservation area in Stoughton. These two benches, which will be installed in the two fields right off of Bird Street, are meant as a resting spot for the many birdwatchers and hikers who utilize the grounds for leisure.

Benches aren't cheap, however, and in order for this project to materialize, a budget of $3300 needs to be raised. Any donations are appreciated and this project will be completely open to the public when finished. Thank you!
