Choose Health and Find Wealth-End Overdose

Hi everyone! We are students at the University of North Texas, and we're raising money for a cause that means a lot to us.

About 60% of overdoses in Texas are opioid related
Fentanyl being involved in 26% of those

“By supporting students like us in backing up non-profits like END OVERDOSE, donors are helping us further END OVERDOSE’s mission by expanding the reach of life-saving resources, such as Naloxone kits and fentanyl test strips. The mission we are raising donations for is to “End drug-related overdose deaths through education, medical intervention, and public awareness.” By joining in our support, you are helping build a world where no one has to lose a loved one to a preventable overdose.

To date, more than 585,200 individuals have been trained on what to do in the case of an emergency. This includes first responders, families, and volunteers.” According to dallasobserver.com “Dallas County has seen a significant increase in overdose death rates, which surged 81% between 2019 and 2023. The synthetic opioid fentanyl, which accounted for 11.4% of opioid-related deaths in 2018, contributed to as many as 79.8% of deaths last year.”

By raising $500, we hope to help fund these kits, which will be distributed to festivals, homeless shelters, clinics, and community events, and will provide protection and hope for individuals at risk. With over 582,700 kits already funded and distributed nationwide, every contribution directly fuels a proven effort to save lives. This fight is not just about resources, but also about empowerment. Together, we can transform awareness into action, equip more people with life-saving tools and skills, and ensure that when the moment comes, someone is ready to step in.

Every contribution, big or small, makes a real impact. Even just a few dollars can help move this mission forward and reach those who need it most.
If you can’t donate right now, sharing this fundraiser is also incredibly helpful. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. It means the world to us.
