Hi everyone.

On Thursday 20th of March my son’s grandparents house caught on fire due to an electrical fault. Everyone was evacuated safely with no serious injuries but one was taken to UHL for treatment for burns and smoke inhalation as their beloved pets were inside and needed to be saved and they heroically entered the home to save them

. Unfortunately we can not say the same for the house and the damage from the fire and smoke is extreme.

Unfortunately they own their own home and it was not insured which means all expenses lie on their heads and it is a massive worry on them.

They also have an adult son living with them who has complexed needs who just cannot understand why he can’t just go home to his safe place.

I have set up this go fund me page to see if I can raise funds to help towards any costs they are now facing in their uphill battle to build their home back up around them.

Many Thanks to the many neighbours and family who have given many hard hours since yesterday evening to help in any way they can. It has not gone unnoticed.
