Avon Pavilion & Father Miguel COVID19 Support

47843514_1588582390702006_r.jpegThe Avon Pavilion team is coming together - at a safe distance of course - to create CareKits for Father Miguel to distribute to his parish and community. Father Miquel Virella is a Pastor at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School and Mother of Mercy Parish of Asbury Park.  He is also a tireless advocate for humanity, a dedicated friend and guiding light in the community. Many of his approx. 200 Kindergarten thru 8th Grade students rely on that one hot lunch meal a day at school but with schools closed, entire families unemployed and family members sick, these are dire times.  The Avon Pavilion family takes to heart the sentiment “We are All in this Together” and will begin supplying CareKits of food this week.

If you too would like to help these children and families in crisis through Father Miguel, and are able to do so without burden, please know the Avon Pavilion is donating 100% of the CareKit food, supplies and volunteers so that 100% of all other donations go directly to the community in need.

Thank you kindly and please continue to stay safe and take care of each other #AvPavFeedingFamilies
