200HR Yoga Teacher Training

Hi, my name is Maria Goley! I am a certified Kids Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher here in Las Cruces, NM.  

I was born the youngest of 6 children in Las Cruces, I was raised with strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for family connection. As I've grown up I realized how difficult it can be to practice emotional and mental wellness, as well as physical movement and awareness when you are living in a high stress and low-income home. 

My dream is bring Yoga & Mindfulness into all homes and studios across Southern New Mexico making the beneficial tools you learn through practice accessible to all families and children regardless of income status. 


I am entering the next stage of my practice and teaching that is to get Yoga Teacher Training (200 HR) and am asking for your help. With your contribution, I will be able to not only study the philosophy of yoga, but the importance of optimal movement and anatomy. This training will create bigger opportunities and more freedom to improve the quality of teaching I am able to offer to families in the area. 

In contributing to this cause, you are directly benefitting the families in the Las Cruces community. Helping children and adults learn meditation, mindfulness and movement techniques to better understand selves, each other and promote cognitive brain development as well as emotional intelligence and body awareness.

I'm asking for $6500 to begin my Teacher Training and begin offering monthly FREE and donation based classes all over Las Cruces as I complete my training! 


Here is a breakdown of my expenses:
200HR Teacher Training - $3000
Cost of Living (3/Mo) - $3,500
(Food, Gas, Supplies, Rent & Utilities) 

$1500 has already been generously donated by Coleen Boyd (500HR RYT) owner of Downtown Desert Yoga.
