Have a Heart!

Jeffrey is the kindest, most gentle soul I have come across in the last 17 years. He is described by his friends as having a huge heart, and setting a PROFOUND example of humility, love and generosity. He is a father of three and a devoted husband and family man.

Most in our community don't know this but Jeffery has been fighting for his life for several months now. He caught Covid less than a year ago and has not been able to get well since that time. Jeffery has been in and out of the hospital for the last year as a medical mystery case to why his heart was failing, and finally being diagnosed last month with Giant Cell Myocarditis. The physicians confirmed that his heart was operating at less than 20% of its capacity and he would require a heart transplant. On February 6th a heart became available and Jeff was given the chance to prove that his heart is bigger than most.

Jeffery is they type of guy who would help anyone in need and who would readily give the shirt off his back. The ask for the family is $10,000 and up. Heart transplants are expensive and with the length of recovery Jeffery will require, the family will HAVE to pay for Cobra insurance. This is an astronomical expense! $10,000 will afford the family a year of Cobra coverage for Jeff!

Anything above and beyond will help with unexpected expenses, out of pocket medical bills and cost of living.

Jeff and his family have a long road ahead and I KNOW that their community can and will come together to support them and make this road a little easier to navigate.
