help ren receive lifesaving gender affirming care

My name is Ren (he/they), and I am seeking the help of my community as I prepare for my gender-affirming surgery. I have a consultation scheduled in June and am seeking funds for this appointment as well as for the down deposit and surgery itself. Because of a series of mental health crises largely precipitated by relational fractures concurrent to my coming out as trans two years ago, I have been unable to find a secure full-time job to save funds for my procedure. It has become glaringly obvious after a year and a half of medical transition with HRT that I need top surgery to peacefully move forward with my life, which, after a few tumultuous and painful years, I am desperate to do. Please help support me in this endeavor.

A little bit about me: I am a sober queer and trans person living in New York. I am from Colorado, and I spent several years in Georgia. Despite what some of the current rhetoric about trans people would tell you, I am a pretty normal person. I like going on walks, taking pictures, spending time with animals, reading, writing, and watching movies. For work, I currently work in a cafe, walk dogs, and teach climbing to kids. I'm quite average. All I want is to move forward in peace with my body, spirit, and mind aligned. I have historically been a person who is very excited about and in love with life. Please help me get back to that place.
