Mitchell Family Support Fund

Hi everyone, my name is Matt Mitchell and my sister is Kristin Wheaton. As many have heard, we very recently lost our mother, Tina Mitchell, and our Granny, Shirley Fisher to senseless tragic events in which their lives were taken from them in cold blood. With time, more information will surface but as of now we are just trying to process this nightmare, tackle the immediate issues at hand, and later take focus towards justice. These were two innocent women that loved, gave back, and only wanted positivity and good in the world. It is shocking and frustrating that this has happened to them, but we are coming together as a family to adjust to our new life and figure out ways to navigate this tragedy.

We have started this GoFundMe for our Dad, Shawn, who has obviously been through extensive trauma with the situation and has had his life turned upside down with two of his closest people now gone from Earth. We are working to alleviate as much burden as possible from him at this time, as well as, give him the proper time and space to process everything that has happened. He's going to need time off from work to make all of the arrangements and readjust his life. Unfortunately, most of his needed time off will be unpaid. We are beyond grateful for any donations to help our dad get the time he deserves to grieve without the heavy weight of financial burden. All donations will go towards finishing up funeral costs for Mom, alleviating some of the bills, and helping our Dad get back on his feet.

We appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers that we've received and continue to receive. It's been an overwhelming amount of messages and comments, but it is amazing to hear that Shirley and Tina have touched so many people's lives in their time with us. They were two beautiful souls that we loved with all of our hearts and would do anything to have them back. They are gone, but never forgotten. Continued prayers are greatly appreciated.
