Missy’s Divine Legacy (A Mother Gone too Soon)

Losing my mother as the year just began is the toughest battle I have ever faced. That my siblings have ever faced . January 22, 2022 My whole family lost a major Asset of our lives ! My mother died suddenly of a heart attack after returning to NY from a 5day cruise vacation. My siblings and I have no explanation.Her Name was Zanquetta ( Missy) Harris, 45 years old and she left behind 8 children and 2 grandchildren. Zanquasia Brooks (age 27), my son is Jaden ( age 12). My mom was his “mom”Tyleek(age 26) Kyle (age 20) Princess ( age 22) and Kyia (age 19)

I have been caring for 4 of my mothers youngest children Kyianna (age 16), Kayla (age 11), Eziah (age 9) and my nephew Royal ( age 5 months).

As a single mom myself , I will now carry on the responsibilities of my siblings ! I gained custody Thursday January 27, 2022. 

My mom started her hair business in 2015 and had so much more work to do. She always told me she wanted me to run her shop and get stylist in so it can run itself ! Her business did struggle a bit but I want to Expand it ! It’s totally possible! I’ve worked along side with my mom. She has a nail tech who is amazing . She would never have wanted her business to shut down ! Help keep it running !!!

I am raising money for all my siblings my 16-year-old sister and her son. I am raising money for my nine year old brother and my 11 year old sister and my 12-year-old son and 5 month old nephew . and to pick up all the slack that was left behind including bills and I also want to keep her small business running. My mom passed January 22, 2022! She was in ICU Friday January 21, 2022 and seeing her already gone before we could say goodbye will stick forever. We didn’t see our mother with a smile on her face after her vacation ! We saw her lifeless right before our eyes.

Why I'm raising money

I need help just starting this journey of taking on all the responsibilities my mother left behind. I want to keep her foundation going and turn it to an empire . I want to make sure her younger children are involved in as must extra activities they can be apart of and get family counseling . I want to keep her kids in the house she just moved into so they are not making any drastic changes to their known schedules. My mom kept everything together and we just need helping continuously doing just that ! Just a little push to keep things rolling. Utilities,Next month rent and expenses. Also the rent of her business and utilities. Clothes and shoes for her younger children as we plan and pay for her funeral services.
