Mission “ Secure Madi Mobile”

Being disabled is expensive.

Some of you may know my sweet kid sister, Madison Hannon, and those who don’t are truly missing out. She is bright, kind hearted, has a great sense of humor and a smile that will light up a room. Those who have met Madi, quickly fall in love with her personality, she is an absolute treasure.

The van Madi uses for transportation is the first and only handicap accessible van we have had, and it was a blessing for a good friend of ours, her family gifted it to us after she passed away. This van has given a life to Madi that we didn’t have the fortune of knowing before, simply due to how costly handicap accessible vehicles are. It’s seriously mind boggling how much a van with a ramp costs, how difficult it is for just a regular family to afford.

With that being said, we are asking for help. On December 1st of 2022, my mom and my sister were involved in a collision.. an unlicensed driver pulled out without stopping and t boned the van, on the side the ramp extends out from. By the grace of God, no one was seriously injured, but the already limping van has sustained yet another injury. Our poor van is on it’s last wheel, and we have to start thinking about the future of Madi’s mobility.

We ask that you join us as we begin mission “Secure New Madi Mobile” every penny of your donations will go towards the down payment on Madi’s new van. All we want is for Madi to not have to worry if she will be able to leave the house that day, if the ramp will come out correctly, or get stuck and not go back in. She deserves that.
