Help us make Christmas special for our young people in care

I am a social worker for Children in Care, and we support some vulnerable children and families in Lancashire.

Christmas can be a difficult time for our children and young people in care for many different reasons. Some children may not have family members to celebrate Christmas with and some families maybe struggling to afford any gifts this year.

Our care leavers who are living in independence are often without the resources to make Christmas special. We want to change this. This Christmas season, we are raising funds to provide Christmas gifts, food packages and anything they may need to make Christmas special and joyous for them.

Your donations will help provide our young people with not only gifts to open this Christmas, but also a sense of belonging, care and community. No matter how big or small, every donation will help brighten their Christmas, create a little magic and remind them that they are thought of this holiday season.
