Miss Sittingbourne Carnival Court 2023

Hello, I am Kelly Kay, the Chairperson for the 2023 Miss. Sittingbourne Carnival Court. I have taken over the court intending to give young people opportunities to give back to our local community as well as meet new friends, build their confidence and have experiences that will build an impressive UCAS or college application.

We are a non-profit organisation run on donations and contributions. Our float has been sat since 2019 in hurricanes and snow, all the wheels are flat, the roof is completely broken and it's very rusty and dirty. It will be a big job to restore but we hope to produce something beautiful.

We are extremely grateful for any contributions to the restoration of our float, the new Court's costs such as dresses, crowns, trophies, sashes, shoes etc, as well as costs during the carnival season to travel to towns across Kent. We also host two large events, a selection evening and a welcome Ball to other town courts, funds will be used for food, venue, decoration etc.
