Help Mohammed's family escape the death in Gaza

We are relatives of Mohammad and we took it upon ourselves to help him escape the war in Gaza, where there is genocide of people and there is no way of life.

Mohammad's message to you:

Hello, I am Mohammad from Gaza and I want to tell you my story.

I live quietly with my small family in Gaza City, which consists of me, my wife Doaa, and my beautiful daughters, Mirna, 9 years old, and Lauren, 5 years old.

Our suffering began in October 2022 with the discovery of my eldest daughter Mirna’s illness and the start of her treatment with chemotherapy sessions. She ended her treatment after a year, and we were all suffering from a bad psychological state, tension and instability.

My daughter's immunity was weak and she suffers from psychological problems due to the complications she went through during the treatment period, and we are trying to regain our lives and reunite us again

The war on Gaza began and our dreams and lives began to collapse

Since the beginning of the war on Gaza on October 7, my family and I have woken up to the sounds of explosions and destruction all around us. Everything changed in moments. I would wake up to my wife and daughters, Mirna and Lauren, smiling. But this time, their faces were pale, filled with fear and panic. On October 14, our lives were shattered and the Israeli army called us to evacuate our homes in the Gaza Strip. In a desperate attempt to survive, we packed up and left our lives behind in the hope of returning a few days later in the hope that the worst was over.

where will we go?

We found ourselves in a small tent on a barren land. We start our day by collecting firewood and cooking over an open flame. We face great difficulty in obtaining unsafe drinking water, and we eat unhealthy canned food and polluted water that is not suitable for drinking.

My children suffered from diseases and epidemics, and it was not easy to provide treatment.

Every moment we see death in the eyes of our innocent children. They are innocent, but we are witnessing the devastation and collapse of homes around us.

We reached out to friends with difficulty, struggling with communication and the challenge of reaching those who might still be alive. Unfortunately, many of them had lost their lives. We mourned the loss of our relatives and many friends.

We are human beings and we want to live a peaceful life.

We thank God every day that we are still alive in a place where there is no safety, unable to protect ourselves and our children from death. However, we have lost our closest family members and many friends.

We, as human beings, deserve to live in peace.

This war has affected my children psychologically and health-wise after they learned that there is no return, that our house was vandalized, destroyed, and stolen, and they lost their toys and all their previous lives, and were displaced into the unknown.

That is why I came to you so that my family can continue to live their lives in peace, security and freedom.

أعيش بهدوء مع عائلتي الصغيرة في مدينة غزة، والتي تتكون مني وزوجتي دعاء وبناتي الجميلات ميرنا 9 سنوات ولورين 5 سنوات.

بدأت معاناتنا في أكتوبر 2022 باكتشاف مرض ابنتي الكبرى ميرنا وبدء علاجها بجلسات العلاج الكيميائي. أنهت علاجها بعد عام، وكنا جميعاً نعاني من حالة نفسية سيئة وتوتر وعدم استقرار.

مناعة ابنتي كانت ضعيفة وتعاني من مشاكل نفسية بسبب المضاعفات التي مرت بها خلال فترة العلاج، ونحن نحاول استعادة حياتنا ولم شملنا من جديد

بدأت الحرب على غزة وبدأت أحلامنا وحياتنا في الانهيار

منذ بداية الحرب على غزة في 7 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول، استيقظت أنا وعائلتي على أصوات الانفجارات والدمار من حولنا. كل شيء تغير في لحظات. كنت أستيقظ على زوجتي وبناتي، ميرنا ولورين، وهما يبتسمان. ولكن هذه المرة، كانت وجوههم شاحبة، ومليئة بالخوف والذعر. في 14 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول، تحطمت حياتنا وطلب منا الجيش الإسرائيلي إخلاء منازلنا في قطاع غزة. وفي محاولة يائسة للبقاء على قيد الحياة، حزمنا أمتعتنا وتركنا حياتنا خلفنا على أمل العودة بعد بضعة أيام على أمل أن يكون الأسوأ قد انتهى.

أين سنذهب؟

وجدنا أنفسنا في خيمة صغيرة على أرض قاحلة، نبدأ يومنا بجمع الحطب والطهي على اللهب المكشوف، ونواجه مشقة بالغة للحصول على مياه غير صالحة للشرب وما نتناولة معلبات غير صحية ومياه ملوثة غير صالحة للشرب.

عانى أطفالي من الأمراض والأوبئة ولم يكن توفير العلاج من السهل .

في كل لحظة نرى الموت في عيون أطفالنا الأبرياء. إنهم أبرياء، لكننا نشهد الدمار وانهيار المنازل من حولنا.

لقد تواصلنا مع الأصدقاء بصعوبة، حيث واجهنا صعوبة في التواصل والتحدي المتمثل في الوصول إلى أولئك الذين ربما لا يزالون على قيد الحياة. ولسوء الحظ، فقد الكثير منهم حياتهم. لقد حزنا على فقدان أقاربنا والعديد من الأصدقاء.

نحن بشر ونريد أن نعيش حياة سلمية.
