Meet the Moores – Bryce, Harmony and their four adorable children. The Moores have lived on the central coast of California for years, and are loved and respected by those of us who have the privilege of knowing them.

Recently, Aiden, their third born, had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor in his brain (on his 5th birthday). The cancer involved is an aggressive/fast growing type but treatable.

This is not the first time Aiden has faced serious health challenges. While in utero, it was discovered that he had some issues with his kidneys. Harmony and Aiden went through 4 surgeries prior to his birth in an attempt to help his kidneys drain. Then, just before his 4th birthday, Harmony and Aiden faced surgery together again, when she donated a kidney to her son.


What about the treatment?
At this time, the recommended treatment for Aiden is radiation. There's a specific type of radiation that his doctors want him to get which will be able to treat the exact area of the tumor without affecting the surrounding tissues as much. There are only a few places in the country which do the type of radiation that Aiden will need. The recommended facility is in San Diego.

Because the Moore home is on the Central Coast of California, the family will need to temporarily re-locate. The treatment will take about 5 - 6 weeks of 5 days/week treatments and they want to start in about 4 weeks. There are still some unknowns and options could potentially change if something different should show up in the tests.


What is the financial need?
As you can imagine, the expenses to the Moore family will be significant. Initially they will need to secure either a temporary rental or an AirBnB for the duration of Aiden’s treatments. Potential time away from work, travel expenses, medical bills, etc, are added considerations. Funds received through this campaign will be used to offset all of these unexpected costs. Our hope is to raise enough money to help alleviate the obvious financial burden that will come. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Bryce and Harmony could focus on their family and not be worrying about how to pay for all this?


If you are a pray-er: how can we pray?
1. We are asking for a miracle for Aiden: complete eradication of the cancer and that it will not return.

2. That Aiden will recover completely from the surgery to his brain, with full restoration of movement to his right leg and arm (which the tumor had affected prior to the surgery)

3. Strength and perseverance for Bryce and Harmony as they tag team the rotation between caring for their other three children and Aiden, as well as time for their own re-charging and rest.

4. For Aiden’s siblings – this is challenging for them as well.

5. That Aiden’s body will respond well to the treatment with no negative side effects.

6. Success in finding the perfect temporary home, comfortably close to the treatment facility

7. Complete financial provision for medical bills, rent for their temporary home, etc.
