Dear friends and loved ones,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share about our precious daughter, Minnie.

From the moment she came into our lives, she has filled us with a love so deep and profound. She is an angelic little soul — a heavenly presence in our lives, delicate, radiant, and a truly precious gem who has touched everyone who meets her.

Minnie was born with a very rare genetic condition, and early on we were told she likely wouldn’t make it to her first birthday.

Since then, she has shown us what true strength looks like. She has fought so bravely every single day.

Right now, Minnie is trying to fight off several infections, and despite everything, her condition has become increasingly fragile.

We are now walking a path we never imagined — supported closely by an incredible palliative care team, who are helping us focus not only on what lies ahead, but on how we can honour and celebrate Minnie’s life, however long or short it may be.

As we take this time to be fully present with Minnie and care for our family, we’ve had to step away from work, and this time has brought financial challenges for us as well.
