Hi, I'm an Australian volunteer living in Ukraine, and are asking for your support to buy a second-hand minivan in the northern city of Kharkiv, so I can help evacuate villagers under threat of advancing Russian forces.
I've found charities in Ukraine to work with, but they're in need of volunteers with cars.
While I only speak Australian, I will be partnered with a brave Ukrainian to help me get to the right place, on any given task.
This journey started when I sold my house earlier this year, and used the profit to immigrate to Ukraine, to help.
See my journey so far through social media:

I've already purchased a ballistic vest, helmet and combat first aid supplies this week.
An unused Starlink I've been humping around the country for months now may finally get a chance to shine, as GPS tracking is typically scrambled in regional areas during incoming air alerts.
While searching for the best way I can make a difference over here, I've found calculated risk can produce positive outcomes for the people of this nation.
Your donation towards the minivan, no matter how small, could save lives and provide delivery of vital aid to those refusing to leave.
As a self-funded volunteer without an income, I believe I'm here for the right reasons; but have certainly noticed my fair share of sharks and grifters during my short five months in Ukraine.
With a six-year history running an independent news page called The Mango Inquirer; I hope my hard-earned trust will provide some confidence that your donation is going to the right place, making a real difference.
I'll provide evidence of a handover and receipt of the vehicle purchased, and publish my work on the ground, as we go.
Slava Ukraini. We are The Mango Inquirer.
