Hey there LEGO Instagram people,

 

 

One of our own treasured community members (and her family) is in need of a little love.

 

 

Most of you know and adore Matilda (& her mom Tabitha) of @teach2kinder. She’s a kind, creative, enthusiastic KFOL, and her mom works really hard to support her (and her LEGO obsession).

 

 

What you probably don’t know is that they have hit a bit of a rough patch. Their rental property has been sold and they have to move out very soon. The only new place they found within budget is smaller, doesn’t have a yard for beloved Honda (their coon hound) and is in a different school zone (and Matilda already started a new school this Fall). On top of that, the agent just told Tabitha that she was advised the incorrect rental amount AND there’s a dog bond AND an extra monthly dog fee.

 

 

Do we want Matilda to have to move schools again? No!

 

 

Do we want them to probably have to re-home Honda? No!

 

 

So here’s where we all come in….

 

 

We need to quickly raise approx $2,000 (plus admin fees) to enable them to find a better suited home in the same school district, one that Honda can live in too. This money will give them a small financial buffer, peace of mind and help with moving costs eg bond.

 

 

If we all ‘give Matilda a mini-fig or poly bag’ by donating the equivalent amount to this campaign, we can easily raise this amount as a community.
