Neon tells a tale of a simpler time in Spokane . When you would travel down riverside and see the glitter and glitz of a bustling metropolis alongside street car trolleys. Sadly these historic neon signs are all disappearing from the skyline and being replaced by signs with no personality.
In April of 2020 a wind storm took down the Vintage Ming Wah sign in downtown Spokane. The owner Kam Kwong vowed that he wants to see the sign go back up as it is a piece of Spokane history but also a piece of art. Little did Kam know that the cost to keep this sign was much more than the insurance company was willing to pay.
Here's where you come in... We want to bring this landmark back to life and need your help! In the sake of transparency, the full cost of a complete restoration from the sign company is $29,506. The Insurance company is willing to pay $10,000 - $15,000. We just want to make up the difference for Kam.
