The Milton Keynes Bereaved Parents group was established in 2009 to support bereaved parents to navigate the grief and cope with day to day life after the loss of a child. The group is run by volunteer bereaved parents who support others, is self funding and meets once a month. No subscription or payment is asked from those who attend, we are hear to listen, help and support anyone who has lost a child. The group pays for a monthly meeting location and organises memorial events. ( The next being our annual Christmas tree dedication event where stars are decorated and hung by parents with the names of their children making the fact that they will not be with them over the festive period. ) The group is raising funds to secure enough money to fund the Christmas tree event and pay for our meeting room through 2026 so volunteers can continue to offer support to anyone local who needs it following the death of their child.
