Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my beautiful baby niece, Millie Hope Smith, who is bravely fighting for her life.

In February 2025, Millie was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. She is only two years old, but already enduring what no child should ever have to go through — intense chemotherapy, surgery, high-dose chemo, radiotherapy, and immunotherapy at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Despite everything, Millie continues to light up every room she enters. She’s the sassiest, kindest, funniest little girl — absolutely obsessed with Dogs, Paw Patrol, and surprisingly, cleaning! She adores the outdoors and even has her very own vegetable patch in her Nannie's garden.

Before her diagnosis, Millie lived a bright and bubbly life. Now, her days are filled with hospital visits and gruelling treatments. She has been given a 50% chance of beating this devastating disease. The road ahead is expected to last at least 2 years and will be incredibly tough on her and our whole family.

My sister and brother-in-law have had to give up their jobs and family home to care for Millie full-time. This has created a huge emotional and financial strain.

To show our love and support, my best friend Mia and I will be walking a half marathon a week before Millie's 3rd Birthday - on August 3rd in Southend — every step we take will be for Millie and every child like her fighting this horrible illness.
