Hi, My name is Dessie and I work in the Millennium Forum Theatre Box Office.

I began working here though a programme called Achieve Beyond.

This was on a voluntary basis to help me gain confidence and what started as a 6 weeks course, has gained me employment here.

We, at the Millennium Forum, strive to be an all inclusive theatre and each month we have our Dementia Friendly Tea Dance which we provide free of charge. We provide complimentary Tea/Coffee, Sandwiches, Pastries etc to our customers at these events.

To enable us to keep this event going, we rely on funding. This brings me to the decision that I completed a Sky Dive, on Saturday 2nd August 2025 in the hope of raising enough funds to keep the Tea Dances going during the Autumn and Winter months. It is a great event that has proven to be very popular and any donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated.
