Traveling Miles for Miles
Miles Hawley, 7, has been accepted into Idaho School for the Deaf and Blind (ISDB) in Gooding, Idaho; 450 miles away from his 2 brothers, Mom and Dad in Viola, Idaho.
Miles is autistic, ADHD and deaf. Within the last weeks, miles had been exhibiting aggressive behavior towards others when he is unable to cope with stimuli. Miles was only relased to a mental facility under constant monitoring until doctors decided the options for Miles. ISDB is hands down the best option for Miles and his future.
When Miles is not attending school at ISDB, 24 hour care (aiding Miles's needs every second) is required.
For the remainder of this school year, Heidi is flying with Miles to and from school each week. During the weekends they must hire a caregiver for Miles when he is home with his family. During the summer months Miles will be attending summer camps and therapy with kids just like him.
Keeping this family a whole is a number one priority. Let us do our best to release the financial burden of travel expenses and care for Miles. Thank you so much for supporting this courageous family!
If you would like more information, please read our upcoming blogs where we will give more information on Miles, and why this fund for Miles is so important. Thank you again!
