From November 24 to December 3, our LAR family is coming together to run for a cause that affects millions: Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
Why we’re doing this: Alzheimer’s is more than memory loss, it’s a challenge that impacts thinking, behavior, families and communities. We’ve all been touched: through parents, grandparents, friends or colleagues. For ten days, we’ll lace up to raise awareness, honor loved ones, and support life-changing research and care.
What we’re committing to: The Alzheimer’s Association challenge centers on one mile a day but we decided to go bigger! Together, we’ve set a collective goal of 1,000 miles in 10 days, every stride representing strength, memory, and hope.
Our core team including Peggy, Allison, Terese, Joann, Donna, Tiffany, Maria, Megan, Uma, Kirtee, Jill, Magali, Donna, Senay, Jabina, Cat, Sanja, Laura, Suzie, Kim N., me plus some of our family members will be logging miles and sharing updates throughout the 10-day challenge.
You can:
✅ Donate to support our collective effort
✅ Join the challenge by running, or walking your own miles
✅ Share our page with your friends, family, or any other groups
Every step counts, and every contribution makes a difference.
Join us in honoring the millions impacted by Alzheimer’s, one mile, one memory, one donation at a time.
