Miles for Micro Preemies
Scarlett was born more than 15 weeks early, weighing just over 1lb. She is now a month old and continues to show us all her strength throughout her intense NICU stay. Scarlett is the daughter of our cousins, Cameron and Tori, and we are hoping to provide their family with a bit of a cushion to relieve some of the financial burdens that come along with an extended NICU stay. The biggest need for this family is gas money, as they live about an hour from the hospital where Scarlett is staying (one-way). We are also hoping the funds raised will bless them with help for bills, groceries, meal delivery services for the late nights at the hospital, and baby needs (diapers, wipes, nursery items as they work to prepare for Scarlett's eventual homecoming).
I (Justin) am looking forward to a day of riding on the Swamp Rabbit Trail in order to raise money for this special family. I will be tackling 10 hours of moving time on the bike, hitting anywhere from 120-140 miles. Would you join me in sponsoring any amount of money per mile completed? Even $1/mile will go a long way toward helping this family. Flat donations would also be appreciated as we support Scarlett! Let's show some love to this precious micro preemie and her parents.
