Hi, I’m Kate Marrington, and this June I’m joining Feeding America’s movement challenge to help put food on the tables of kids and families across the country. I’m setting a distance goal that feels meaningful to me and inviting friends, family, and neighbors to come alongside me. Every mile I cover is a step toward a future where no one has to wonder where their next meal will come from.

Feeding America works with local food banks, policymakers, and communities to make sure nutritious food is accessible and equitable for everyone. When I move my body and raise support, I’m helping deliver food, resources, and hope to people who are struggling right now. It matters to me because access to basic needs shapes every part of life—health, school, work, and dignity.
