What is "The Mikko Challenge?"
My name is Randy Mikko Royce the founder of Mikko Foundation. To raise funds to help support two of our favorite NGOs, I will be pulling rickshaw from Dhaka to Chittagong - a total of 243.9 kilometers / 151.5 miles.
The recipients of the goal funds:
Street Children LEEDO [www.leedobd.org]
LEEDO rescues children lost or abandoned on the streets of Dhaka and provides them shelter, food, education, and a sense of community.

NG3O is working to help NGOs in developing countries in using the Internet and social media to create a supporting community that extends beyond borders or cultures - ultimately, reaching more people to generate more donations and to support more people in need.
The birth of Mikko Foundation....
It all started with one simple thought: “How can we give back?”
During a hike in Bhutan in May 2011, Mikko Foundation was born.
The initial concept, which has changed over the years, started with my burning desire to give back to a community and to create something different, something meaningful, and something that allowed us to use our vast experience to help others. I became us, and Mikko Foundation was born. In the process of our many brainstorm sessions, we created a sustainable business model with the single focus of giving back where the community became active participants in the creation of our products, enjoyed a larger share of the profits to help improve their quality of life, and ultimately became our shareholder.
With our deep roots in fashion, supply chain, and appreciation for the arts, we began to mold Mikko Foundation based on our passions and desires. What eventually emerged was a collage of companies with each company capable of generating sustainable revenue to support Mikko Foundation.
During the creation process, a few things never changed:
· our need to work outside the confines of a corporate
structure,
· to create high-quality value-based products,
· be nimble and streamline the creation process,
· all messaging has a story, a purpose, and deep
meaning to us
· Community, community, community
