Mikki Strong

Wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, step daughter, god daughter, best friend, friend of many. 
Mikki was truly one of a kind, with a beautiful smile, she just made the room brighter when she walked into it. Entering the hospital to be treated for a bad case of colitis on August 2nd, on the morning of August 6th, she was found unconscious, and later that day was pronounced brain dead. She leaves behind her best friend and husband Mike, and two precious boys, Mason (7) and Maddox (4). In the following weeks Mike will need to take time off of work as he begins to figure out how to continue his life without his wife and the mother of his two boys. We hope to raise money to help cover daily, weekly and even monthly expenses to allow him to grieve this tremendous loss without the financial burden. 
Mikki continues to make us proud by giving life to others through organ donation. Her kind and selfless character will continue to shine on and will always be with us. Jewish Hospital Kenwood will be having a hero walk in her honor when she is taken to the operating room to give those gifts. If you loved her spirit when she was alive, imagine how it is going to multiply with her passing it on to those in need. We love you Mikki! 
It is in these times of heart break and sadness when we rely on the kindness of human beings coming together to help one another make it through and support the people we care for. We are thankful for any support you may be able to provide for Mike, Mason and Maddox.
