Trust Fund for Children of Mike Ray

As we continue to mourn the passing of our beloved friend, Mike Ray, we must consider the impacts Mike had on our community - countless hours he selflessly dedicated to the lives of youth and adults alike.  Whether on the softball field, at Bogle, in the batting cages, or icing injuries, he was there for us and he was there for our kids. Mike shared a most precious asset that can't be taken back - the gift of time.  Much of that time, was likely painful physically for Mike, but we would never have known that.  His time was sacrificed for the betterment and love of everyone privileged to experience his grace.  So many have asked, "what can we do?"  While we can never repay Mike Ray for his dedication and friendship, we may be able to honor him by supporting his children, Mikayla and Kent, as they continue their journey in his worldly absence.  All proceeds from funds raised by this campaign will be securely deposited into trust accounts for both Mikayla and Kent, to provide resources for them as they enter adulthood.  Collectively, as beneficiaries of all the time and attention Mike extended, let us attempt to exhibit similar love to those hurting the most.  On behalf of Whitney, I extend many thanks to everyone for their kind expressions of admiration and compassion, and offers for support and prayer for the man we adored so much.
