SUPPORT MIKE OWEN IN THE AUTISM IN RACING FUNDRAISING RACE

Help Me Raise £3,000 for Autism In Racing

On 28th October 2026, I’ll be taking part in the Autism In Racing Fundraising Race at Nottingham Racecourse, raising vital funds for Autism In Racing.

I’m Mike Owen, a 5* international event rider from Cheshire. Over the years, I’ve competed at Badminton and Burghley more than 30 times, and I’m also a former amateur jockey, having ridden in a number of amateur Flat races.

Horses and equestrian sport have been a huge part of my life, so I’m really looking forward to getting back on the racecourse for this special challenge.

Why I’m Supporting Autism In Racing
I’m delighted to be taking part in this fundraising race and raising money for Autism In Racing.

It’s fantastic to see the work being done to promote greater awareness, understanding and inclusivity within racing, and I’m proud to be able to support such an important cause.

I’m passionate about the opportunities that racing and equestrian sport can offer, and I’m pleased to play a part in helping make our sport more accessible and welcoming to autistic and neurodivergent people.

About Autism In Racing
Autism In Racing works across the horseracing industry to make the sport more accessible, welcoming and inclusive for autistic and neurodivergent people.

Through autism-friendly racedays, dedicated quiet and sensory spaces, mentoring, education and opportunities within the industry, Autism In Racing is helping to remove barriers and enable more people to enjoy and become involved in racing.

Funds raised through the Autism In Racing Fundraising Race at Nottingham Racecourse on 28th October 2026 will help Autism In Racing continue this work and reach even more people.

How You Can Help
My goal is to raise £3,000 for Autism In Racing.

Every donation, however big or small, will help Autism In Racing continue its work across the sport and create more opportunities for autistic and neurodivergent people.

I’d be incredibly grateful for your support as I take on the challenge.
