Need help for med bills & to see daughter for Bday

I was in a head on collision as a passenger on 12/19. I have two broken vertebrae, three broken ribs, lung and diaphragm bruising and numerous other more minor injuries as a result. I do face an intense amount of chest, back and abdominal pain and rely on strong pain medications to make life more manageable while I heal. I have a great prognosis for full recovery and should be fully recovered in about 12 weeks from the date of the accident. I have remained positive a grateful to have survived such a potentially deadly accident and that my injuries I do have all have the potential for full recovery with little to no long term negative health effects. 

Rather unfortunately, the driver of the car i was a passenger in was both at fault and does not have any car insurance. 

This means that currently paying a lot of out of pocket costs for my medical treatment and pharmaceutical costs until I meet my health insurances deductible. 

Next Thursday I have a planned treatment to inject my spine with nerve blocking agents to reduce pain and inflammation and to reduce or possibly eliminate my need to be on so many daily medications. I do not have the funds to pay for this appointment as of today. 

I was unable to spend Christmas, New Years or anytime at all with my daughter during her winter break due to being hospitalized after the accident as well as lacking the funds needed. I’ve spent my time since then doing the best I can to recover and find a way to see her on her 8th Birthday, on January 31st. 

I have an excellent job with great pay. The challenge is I get paid once a month. 

The year of being unemployed and simultaneously going through a bitter divorce during the height of the pandemic means that the majority of each paycheck is quickly and automatically gone due to agreements I’ve had to make to pay down large debts that piled up while I was out of work. 

I need help with these out of pocket medical costs until I meet my deductible. I also want to find a way to afford to fly to California by the 28th in order to see my daughter and participate in her 8th birthday party. 

Unfortunately my credit was ruined during my year of unemployment and divorce, so I am unable to obtain a personal loan at this time.  

I am in the process of selling a Macbook pro, one of my only items with any resale value. I do not need it and it still has great resale value. 

However, it currently seems unlikely I will have the money from the sale in time to affordably by the plane ticket to see her, as the costs go up daily as time approaches toward the date of departure. 

I apologize for the sob story I’ve had to share. I know each of us have many obstacles yo face in general and as a result of the global crisis we’ve all had to face during the nearly two years since our lives were universally changed by this global crises. 

However, I do need to humbly ask for help.  

If I’ve ever made your life brighter, helped you in a time of need, listened to you, encouraged you or have done anything at all to be a positive part of your life, I humbly as you for a small donation toward these goals I have during my time of need and difficulty. 

Perhaps in other cases I have not yet had an opportunity to add value to your life in any significant way yet perhaps you are an empathetic soul or a fellow parent and/or crash survivor and could feel moved to offer some small amount of help. 

Even donating the minimum amount possible would show me a lot of moral support and I will be humbled and appreciative of any level of support you could possibly give. 

If you are unable to give due to challenges you face yourself, positive vibes, prayers and words of encouragement during this time of challenge im in would all be greatly appreciated, valued and remembered ñ. 

Asking for donations is the last thing I want to do. My pride means I’d love to solve these issues myself. I find myself now needing to put my pride aside and ask for help now because I really need it and I’m racing a clock to achieve the important goal of being there for my daughter on her Birthday.
