Hello,

My name is Mike Crofts, and I'm standing to be your local Labour Party candidate at the next General Election. I love this region, and I want to represent you to the best of my ability.

I've spent my adult life dedicated to service. I served in the British Army, after leaving, I founded a successful criminal justice charity. The charity uses a trauma informed approach to engage young people in prison with sports-based mentoring.

I'm standing to be the Labour candidate because of our deep family ties to the area and because I'm a passionate advocate for social justice. My Mother is still a nurse at a local hospital and my aunt too.

Campaigns are expensive, so any help is greatly appreciated.

Labour PPC campaigns are governed by strict spending limits, which I will adhere to. If I am not selected, I will finalise and publish accounts and declare the disposal of any money raised towards good causes.
