Hi,
My name is Stephanie, and I have a tragic story to share with you.
My brother-in-law, Mike Connell, 42, died tragically Saturday August 16, 2025. After a long day at work, he was driving home when he crashed in R.I. on Rt 146 in Lincoln flipping his truck which became engulfed in flames instantly. He was on his way home to his family of four children and loving wife, Kristin. Sadly, Mikey never made it home.
Mike leaves behind his devoted wife of 20 years and their four children: Axl 6, Cayden 8, Tristan 15, and Jared 20. Three of his children are on the Autism Spectrum. Each child is so wonderful, unique, and abundantly loved.
Mikey was such a great guy and loved by so many. He gave everything he had to his family and worked overtime hours as a highly skilled machinist to provide for his large family. Mike was the sole financial provider. Now, the family is in need of some help from the community. Any donation you can make will be greatly appreciated and will make a difference in taking the next steps at this difficult time. Just a $1 donation would provide relief to this grieving family. Any and all support, love, kind words, and prayers would be greatly appreciated.
Mikey is a huge loss to our family and his many friends. He was a dedicated husband, father, brother, and son. Mikey was a very special guy. He was truly one of a kind and was always true to himself. He will be forever cherished and forever missed. His legacy lives on in his four amazing boys. We are so blessed and thankful to have them. Please help us to facilitate a positive future for the children and Kristin.
The accident was such, as DNA had to be taken to verify Mike's identity before his remains can be released from the medical examiner. As soon as this process is complete, we will notify everyone of the time and date of all memorial services.
Thank you for all of your support and God Bless.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who have donated. Your thoughtfulness and generosity are helping our family every day. It is helping Kristin and Mike's sons so much in their journey forward.
Thank you all so much for giving!
