Even though today I am blessed, this wasn't always the case.
My parents sold their wedding bands to ensure my brothers and sister had Christmas presents. This selfless act has always stuck with me, and every year at Christmas I look for ways to help people.
This year I've decided to match $10,000 in your contributions for our first annual toy drive. (We may also buy some winter coats with the funds, too.)
Here's how it work: I'll match every dollar you contribute to this GoFundMe, up to the first $10,000.
And 100% of the funds will be spent purchasing toys for those who might not otherwise have a Merry Christmas.
I'll likely go do a "Secret Santa" style deal at a major toy company.
But you can rest assured that I'll post receipts and keep it 100% transparent.
Times are tough for many children, through no fault of their own. Let's give them a Merry Christmas!
