Many of you know Sekai and Melissa. They’re hardworking, kind, and never ones to ask for help. Who some of you may not know, is their daughter, Mika.

Mika has faced more challenges in her young life than most of us could ever even imagine. She’s been in and out of the hospital her whole life and recently things have taken a turn for the worst. Mika and family have been facing more challenges than ever before.

Sekai and Melissa have taken countless time off of work to be by her side, which has added financial strain to an already heartbreaking situation. They’ve always carried their challenges quietly, never wanting to burden anyone, but now is a time when our community can step up for them.

While money can’t fix what they’re facing, it can help ease some of the stress and uncertainty they’re going through.

Any amount, big or small, will make a difference and show them that they’re not alone.
