mein Name ist Mina. Ich bin 17 Jahre alt und komme aus Bremen. Ich werde diese Jahr mein Abitur machen und da ich schon immer gerne viel von der Welt kennenlernen wollte, ab September einen entwicklungspolitischen Freiwilligendienst in Kenia machen. Das Projekt an dem ich teilnehme, nennt sich „Sport und Umweltbildung für junge Menschen/ bei Nairobi“. Vor Ort werde ich die Möglichkeit bekommen, eine für mich ganz neue Kultur kennenzulernen. Doch auch ich werde meine Welt zeigen können, da ich in Kenia Handball Training geben werde. Handball ist schon seit vielen Jahren meines Lebens ein großer Bestandteil, darum freue ich mich diese Leidenschaft weiter zu vermitteln. In dem kommenden Jahr werde ich die Möglichkeit bekommen, meinen Horizont zu erweitern, ein neues Land mit einer komplett anderen Kultur kennenzulernen und meine sprachlichen, sowie sozialen Kompetenzen ausbauen können.

Die Organisation, die mir diesen kulturellen Austausch ermöglicht, nennt sich „KulturLife“. Leider werden nur 75% der gesamten Kosten vom BMZ (Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung) übernommen. Die verbleibenden 25% sollen die Teilnehmenden selbst tragen, indem sie einen Spendenkreis aufbauen. Damit ich, sowie meine Nachfolger weiterhin an solchen Projekten teilnehmen können, werden in diesem Jahr 4.200€ an Selbstbeteiligung gefordert. Sollte es dir/ Ihnen möglich sein, mir Geld zu spenden, würde nicht nur ein großer Traum von mir in Erfüllung gehen, sondern du/Sie ermöglichen auch anderen Personen in Zukunft so eine Erfahrung mit der Organisation „KulturLife“ zu machen.

Für euch/Sie meinen Spendern gibt es auch etwas: einmal im Quartal werde ich euch / Ihnen einen Bericht über mein Leben und meinen Alltag in Kenia schicken. Verbreitet doch gerne diesen Spendenaufruf, damit möglichst viele Spenden zusammenkommen.

My name is Mina. I am 17 years old and come from Bremen. I will graduate from high school this year and since I have always wanted to get to know more of the world, I will do a development policy volunteer service in Kenya from September. The project in which I participate is called "Sport and environmental education for young people / near Nairobi". The organisation that makes this cultural exchange possible for me is called "KulturLife".
