Nangonhs Massey's life was senselessly taken from us too soon. It is a tragedy but we must come together as a community to support her family and son. Donations to this fund will be put towards a future fund for Nangonhs' beautiful son, Miigwan. "Nangonhs means "little star" in Ojibwa, and that's exactly what she was. She was a star walking on Earth, she was a gift to anyone that crossed her path. She cared about each and every person in her life, but especially her son Miigwan. He was her whole world, everything she did was for him. She put her responsibilities and love for her son first, it was always how she lived her life.

She was an amazing person, just pure compassion. If she cared about you, you knew it - even if that was a random text or call at 3AM asking how you are doing. She always made sure you knew she was thinking about you and cared about you. When you had nobody to talk to she was always there. When you felt most alone, she would come over with her son in tow to make sure you knew she and her son both loved and cared for you. Miigz was her little sunshine baby, she was raising him to be just like her, with pure compassion and love for the people they surrounded themselves with. 

Nangonhs death was tragic and she never deserved to go the way she did. She was an amazing person with the most beautiful soul you could ever be around. There is truly no one else in the world like her. She just had this aura, you could just tell, she was made different. She was too good for this world and its problems but now she is a shining star in the sky again, just where she belongs." - Mia Pamp (cousin)
