Migrants are resilient, and filled with hope. However, many mental health issues are constant and have a long-lasting impact. Depression, anxiety, paranoia, and post-traumatic stress disorder are common among migrants and refugees.

While on the road, each step of their journey brings the possibility of violence, extortion, and all kinds of serious human rights violations, such as, sexual abuse, kidnappings, slavery, and human trafficking. Once they arrived in border cities of Mexico, migrants are doomed to a life of fear, rejection, discrimination, and exploitation. Emigrate is never pleasant and many times is the only option to survive. War, climate change, organized crime, corrupt leadership, food shortages, unemployment, and lack of opportunities play a major role in making the decisions to leave one's country. In Mexico alone, there are more than 11 million people in migrant situation.

We are a community of therapists who offer conscious and thoughtful accompaniment. Our job is to bring spaces of containment and therapeutic healing to vulnerable people that, due to various circumstances of inequality and injustice, do not usually have access to such therapeutic spaces.

On this occasion, we are offering a 3-day workshop for 45 people with migrant or refugee status and several workshops to groups that work with migrants in Tijuana. The accommodations, meals, and workshops are of the highest integrity. We seek to alleviate their burdens, whether it is to continue their walk lighter and connected with human dignity, or heal the trauma of what was hostile along the way.

Únase a nosotros en nuestros esfuerzos de llevar la salud mental a los migrantes y refugiados a quienes se les ha denegado el asilo en los Estados Unidos.

Los migrantes son resilientes y están llenos de esperanza. Sin embargo, muchos problemas de salud mental son constantes y tienen un impacto duradero. La depresión, la ansiedad, la paranoia y el trastorno de estrés postraumático son comunes entre los migrantes y refugiados.

En el camino, cada paso de su viaje trae la posibilidad de violencia, extorsión y todo tipo de violaciones graves de derechos humanos, como abuso sexual, secuestros, esclavitud y trata de personas. Una vez que llegan a las ciudades fronterizas de México, los migrantes están condenados a una vida de miedo, rechazo, discriminación y explotación. Emigrar nunca es agradable y muchas veces es la única opción para sobrevivir. La guerra, el cambio climático, el crimen organizado, el liderazgo corrupto, la escasez de alimentos, el desempleo y la falta de oportunidades juegan un papel importante en la toma de decisiones para abandonar el país de uno. Solo en México hay más de 11 millones de personas en situación migratoria.

Somos una comunidad de terapeutas que ofrecemos un acompañamiento consciente y reflexivo. Nuestro trabajo es acercar espacios de contención y sanación terapéutica a personas vulnerables que, por diversas circunstancias de desigualdad e injusticia, no suelen tener acceso a dichos espacios terapéuticos.

En esta ocasión estamos ofreciendo un taller de 3 días para 45 personas en condición de migrante o refugiado y varios talleres a grupos que trabajan con migrantes en Tijuana. El alojamiento, las comidas y los talleres son de la más alta integridad. Buscamos aliviar sus cargas, ya sea para continuar su caminar más livianos y conectados con la dignidad humana, o sanar el trauma de lo que fue hostil en el camino.
