Hi everybody! I'm Mike. I'm a 12-year old deaf pitbull who lives with my Mom, Michelle, in Kings Beach, CA. She rescued me years ago and I have the best life. I get all the cuddles and pets a dog could want...but now I'm sick. I have a tumor that is growing on my lower jaw that sometimes bleeds. This past weekend, Mom couldn't get it to stop so we had to go to the vet's office. We found out that I need something called a "rostral mandibulectimy." My mom said it's basically a surgery that will remove the parts of my jaw that are being affected by the tumor. 

My mom works so hard to give me and my brothers and sisters a good home, but she doesn't have a lot of extra money. I want to be healthy and stay with my mom for as long as possible. Without her, I wouldn't be alive today. When she rescued me, she learned dog sign language so she could communicate with me.  I have a lot of life left in me! 

If you can donate and help my mom with the expenses of my surgery, we would be so grateful. It would mean I wouldn't be in pain or bleeding and I can keep cuddling with my mom.
