Hello :)

My name is Abigail and I am a second year Student midwife studying in Yorkshire in the UK. I have been given the amazing opportunity to have a 2 week overseas elective placement and I have chosen to go to the Philippines.

As a single parent to my lovely daughter, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to experience midwifery in such a unique and amazing way.

I have worked for the NHS for 13 years and hope to continue to do this after I graduate. This trip will help me expand my knowledge and will give me the opportunity to witness midwifery at a global level.

The money raised will go towards the trip & any supplies I can provide to the hospital I will be based at.
