We are a community volunteer group of social justice activists. We create large scale chalk murals and messages of solidarity with the BLM movement in local parks, intersections, and other public spaces. We target communities of privilege to stimulate and inspire important conversations in places where they do not occur as often as we believe they should and to create a bit of necessary discomfort. Most of our volunteers are other middle and high school students, and our parents and few adult volunteers have been purchasing all our supplies for months. We would like to get some custom t-shirts for our volunteers, stickers and cards for promotional use to gain more volunteers at protest marches and events. We also need gloves and enough chalk to sustain us for the next four months (we go though A LOT of chalk at every project).
