Hi everyone, my name is Becca. I am a Middle Eastern transgender woman. I am fundraising for my facial hair removal gender-affirming care. I will use it for a 16 months plan at Ideal Image laser hair removal. I hate to take up so much space when probably other transgender women need other funding for their gender-affirming care, but dysphoria got me to a point where I had two panic attacks and a suicidal attempt.

Now, I am in a safe environment, and honestly, I am working part-time besides my Ph.D. studies. I am a Ph.D. student in philosophy working on transgender health issues, and due to life expenses difficulties, sometimes I get frustrated to continue. I came from Iran to continue my studies. There are queerphobic laws against me in Iran, and I could not live in that country, unfortunately. So, I came here to be the way I am, but sometimes it is hard to afford gender-affirming care. I dream of other gender-affirming cares, but I know I am not as privileged as my other transgender women friends to undergo gender-affirming surgeries. Unfortunately, I do not have the luxury...

Anyway, any penny you put into this fundraising would help me achieve my goal and live a life I dreamed...
