In honour of our mother Micky’s 60th birthday we would like to raise funds to help her buy her first home, a stable base for our family and her work. She raised my brother and I as a single freelance mother, through the financial crisis, and multiple of her own life threatening health issues, which have unfortunately meant any savings for a deposit were depleted three times. Micky is a holistic therapist who incorporates massage, aromatherapy, reflexology and reiki to help her loyal clients with all sorts, and has been doing so for 30 years, based from home.

This year Micky turns 60 and she has spent the last year looking after her own mother, giving up her time and work to help her transition into a safe and caring home. Time and again we have watched our mother help others, and we would love nothing more than to gather friends and family to support her find a stable home. A hard worker, a loving mother, and an incredible friend, we want to help her buy her forever home from which to work peacefully doing what she has always loved to do - help and heal others. Mortgages are very punitive at her age and as a single woman. Given this, the more we can raise the better a mortgage we can get her. We aim to raise 25,000 EUR for her birthday, the 23rd of March. We will keep the fundraiser open passed that date. Every contribution matters - thank you.
