Michelle and Brandon are moving to Saline with Jarred and Amy at the end of August. There are a lot of carrying costs for her to move.  This will be a better place for her and Brandon.

For many of us it’s harder to receive than to give.  We delude ourselves that we are in a higher or better position from our ability to give while subtly looking down upon our need to receive.    

We all recognize a “giving person” when we see one. But we do we recognize a receiving person? In other words, giving is an honorable quality but being able to receive is also an important quality. I am moved to help Michelle with her ability to receive as her and Brandon make this transition.  

Sister Mother Theresa once said, “Give till it hurts.” Michelle takes this adage seriously.  She reminds me of that claymation Christmas movie where there is a home for miss fit toys...a place where all the broken and unwanted toys go to belong. God (or the Universe if you like) made Michelle more sensitive than others to the cries of those ignored, brushed aside or abandoned. Whether a child or an animal, she is deeply moved to help.  

Time is ever changing us all.  There is nothing fixed or static.  Michelle is being challenged to accept support at this time in her life more than she ever has. For those of us that love and get her let’s make it easier. Please only contribute to this fund if it’s a joy for you.
