Hello, my name is Michael Gallagher and this summer, the summer of 2015, I will be participating in a bike tour across the continental United States. The trip takes us from Charelston, South Carolina to Los Angeles, California over the course of six weeks, spanning about 3000 miles in total. During my trip, I plan to try and raise money which will be donated to Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center. Elizabeth Seton is a pediatric center that specializes in child and family care. The center focuses on creating a caring, loving environment for all its patients so that the children are comfortable and the parents of the children never have to worry. The center has won numerous awards, and has grown over the years to a state-of-the-art facility that offers the best possible care to patients. I have participated in volunteering events at the center, and the work they do is truly great and extremely helpful, which is why I have decided to use my trip as a platform to raise money for Elizabeth Seton. Even though the center already does amazing things, there is always room to expand and improve. The money raised through the trip will help the center to grow so that it can accommodate even more patients as well as whatever specific needs they may have.
