My name is Michael Lopez, and I am the founder of Mission ECHO Ex Cholo Helping Others. We are a non-profit organization that serves the homeless community in Los Angeles, and surrounding areas. 
As a former gang-member and addict of 23 years, I have been able to change my thought process, and transition myself back into the community through continued education. I have earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, and a Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology, currently employed by the Mental Health Association of Orange County. 
We are currently fundraising for a new cargo van to be able to carry more supplies that our homeless brothers and sisters living on the sidewalks, freeway over passes, and alleys of Los Angeles need. There is only so much that fits in my minivan, and too often, what fits is not enough. I have often times had to turn down large food donations because I did not have a vehicle to pick the donation up with. 
Please help us obtain a much needed cargo van, the homeless are depending on us.
